TMS Therapy is a groundbreaking, non-invasive treatment for managing and treating mental health disorders. This advanced technique uses magnetic fields to stimulate specific regions of the brain associated with mood, behavior, and mental health conditions.
In conditions like depression, anxiety, or Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), certain areas of the brain become underactive. TMS targets these areas with focused magnetic pulses, reactivating neural activity and promoting healthier brain function. By restoring balance in the brain’s activity, TMS helps reduce symptoms and improve overall mental well-being. TMS is an innovative option for those seeking relief when traditional treatments have not been successful.
Transcranial magnetic stimulation can be worked into most people’s daily routine. Patients can go about their daily tasks immediately following a session as there is no anesthesia or medication involved.
Over the years, research and clinical trials have established TMS Therapy’s efficacy. In a 2019 study, 66% of people with treatment-resistant depression improved significantly after receiving TMS therapy combined with psychotherapy, with 56% reaching remission. This FDA-cleared treatment is recognized and covered by many major health insurance providers and has successfully delivered over 25,000 effective treatments at our Clearwave Mental Health practice.
Our experienced team of medical professionals has witnessed the life-changing results that TMS Therapy can bring about. Patients who have previously struggled to find effective treatments for their mental health conditions have found renewed hope and tangible progress with this innovative approach.

Importantly, TMS Therapy is recognized as safe by the FDA and approved by many insurance providers. This broad acceptance not only underlines the efficacy of the treatment but also reduces the financial burden on patients seeking this form of therapy.
We encourage our patients to remain active in their mental health care by seeing a therapist regularly, taking medications as prescribed, and seeking out healthy choices to maintain wellness for an extended period of time.
Many patients will come back for another round of care. Most insurance policies will cover multiple rounds of treatment as long as the patient is able to remain stable for a defined amount of time. This is typically anywhere from 2-6 months. Some patients achieve full remission and do not need to return to treatment at all.
No TMS does not anesthesia, hospitalization, and has no systemic side effects. During the 20-minute treatment session, patients sit in a comfortable chair and engage with our staff. This extra engagement during treatment helps improve the efficacy of treatment and yield better results compared to other TMS clinics. Patients are awake and alert throughout treatment and typically don’t experience any pain.
